Our Families

Our Families

The Gold Star and Surviving families we serve, together with the MVF community at our events.

At our events

Families at the heart of every gathering

Every Memorial Valor Foundation event begins and ends with our families. These moments span every Memorial 3 Gun from 2018 through 2026, where each stage carries the name of a fallen Special Operator and their loved ones are welcomed by the shooters who run it. Select a photo to view it full size.

What we do

Four pillars of support

Each year MVF names fallen Special Operators as honorees and welcomes their families into a community that stays for the long road.

I

Honoree families

$100,000 shared each year among that year’s ten honoree families

II

Year-round help

Year-round help for all honoree families past and present: holiday assistance, scholarships, birthday and graduation support and unplanned needs

III

Family trips

Once-in-a-lifetime trips for Gold Star and Surviving families as funds allow

IV

A home

A long-term goal of buying a home or paying off a mortgage for a SOF Gold Star and Surviving family in need

Who we serve

Gold Star and Surviving families of fallen Special Operations service members

Honorees served under SOF command (USASOC, JSOC, MARSOC, NAVSOC or AFSOC, including MACVSOG, Marine Force Recon, Naval UDT and OSS), completed a selection process, graduated and served in a SOF unit.
